Tennessee State University today arrested two men at the same dorm where a freshman student was shot and robbed yesterday morning, the Tennessean Newspaper is reporting.

Campus police aren’t sure whether the two arrested have anything to do with the incident, university spokesman Rick DelaHaya said. They were non-students.

An officer was posted at Watson Hall following the incident early Sunday. One person attempted to enter a locked door with no ID and no reason to be there around 4 a.m., he said. Another attempted around 9 a.m. (The Tennessean)

Police say that the victim has been uncooperative with the investigation, and told them that he would “take care of” the situation himself.
